WESLACO – Yolanda Cerda, 57, passed away at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. She was born October 9, 1957 to Servando & Julia Cruz in Ciudad Miguel Alemán, Tamps., MX.
Yolanda is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Josefina Cruz. She is survived by her husband, Gilberto Cerda; daughters, Martina (Ruben) Pena, Cristina Cerda, Floripes Lizette Cerda; brothers, Rogelio, Juan, Fidencio and Ezequiel Cruz; sisters, Orelia Chavez, Juanita Najera, Amanda Becerra, Arjelia de la Cruz; grandchildren, Priscilla Ann Pena, Timothy James Pena and Adrian Chavez, Jr.
Viewing will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will continue Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Un Nuevo Comienso Church at 507 S. Texas Blvd. in Weslaco. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at City of Weslaco Cemetery.
