Weslaco – Yolanda Y. Bermea, 60, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX. She was born September 9, 1957 to Raquel Carrion & Jesus Bermea, Sr. in Muleshoe, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Guadalupe Carrion; and brother, Jesus Bermea, Jr. Yolanda is survived by her loving husband, Gilberto Rivera, Jr.; siblings, Linda (Jose) Garcia, Roman (Lisa) Bermea, Javier Carrion, and Heriberto (Patty) Carrion; and many loving and treasured nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Friday, November 10, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Cremation will follow at a later date.
