La Villa- Virginia O. Sanchez, 57, died Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Virginia was born December 7, 1964 to Leopoldo and Maria Olivarez in Weslaco, Texas. Viriginia is preceded in death by her father, Leopoldo C. Olivarez. Virginia is survived by her loving companion, Erasmo Vela; mother, Maria Concepcion Perez; brothers, Santiago "Jimmy" Olivarez (Celia), Merardo (Gracie+) Olivarez; sisters, Rosalinda Rodriguez (Robert) and Dolia O. Arispe (Carlos); numerous, nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Friday, September 16, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. at Serenity Funeral Chapels in Edcouch. As per Viriginia's wishes she will be cremated at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Chapels of Edcouch.
