Donna - Virginia Alvarez died Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Knapp Medical Center, Weslaco. Virginia was born December 7, 1950 to Apolonio and Catalina Valdez in Mexico. She is survived by her husband Gerardo Alvarez, sons, Omar (Perla) Martinez and Miguel Angel (Guadalupe) Alvarez, and nine grandchildren. Virginia is also survived by her brother, Rogelio Valdez. At her family’s request, cremation will be done at a later date.
