ELSA — Vicenta C. Padilla, 99, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015. She was born November 20, 1915 to Gabriel & Paulina Cardoza. She is preceded in death by both her parents; husband, Arcadio Padilla Sr.; brothers, David Cardoza & Gabriel Cardoza, Jr.; and sister, Trinidad Cardoza. Vicenta is survived by her sons, Arcadio (+Guadalupe) Padilla, Jr., David (Leticia) Padilla and Daniel (+Savina) Padilla; daughters, Mirtala (Fidencio) Vela, Delia (Juan) Moreno, Aracelia (Robert) Flores, Angie (Max) Zavala and Eliza (Pedro) Perez; brother, Oscar (Beva) Cardoza. Also surviving are 29 grandchildren & 43 great-grandchildren. Viewing for Vicenta will be held today, Wednesday March 18, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Templo Eben-Ezer, Hwy 107 W. Ave. Elsa, Texas. Pastor Federico Garcia will officiate. Burial will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
