Elsa- Tony Trad, 97, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at his residence in Elsa. He was born June 13, 1918 to Dieb & Saida Trad in McAllen, TX.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Georgette Davis, Naomi Chamberlin; brothers, Isaac Trad, John Trad, George Trad and niece, Tonia Chamberlin. He is survived by his wife Irma Trad; daughter, Maria (Jesus) Tijerina; nieces, Mary Sue (John) Molner, Rosanne (Richard) Schrichte, Vivie Mata, Jamilla Carroll; grandchildren, Annamaria Tijerina and Rita Victoria Tijerina.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
