Santa Rosa- Sophia Fonseca, 37, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Harlingen Medical Center. She was born November 11, 1978 to Jesus & Rosita Fonseca in Harlingen.
Sophia is survived by her sons, Luis Fonseca Leal, Enrique Timoteo Leal, Jose Luis Leal; daughter, Amanda Mae Leal and mother. Also surviving her are brother, Jesus Fonseca; sisters, Bertha Fonseca Ezquivel, Sandra Fonseca Badillo, 6 nieces and 8 nephews. She is preceded in death by her father; brother, Timoteo Fonseca and sister, Amanda Fonseca.
Viewing will be held Sunday, July 17, 2016 and Monday, July 18, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary both days at 7:00 p.m. Cremation to follow at a later date.
