Pharr- Sofia S. Cantu, 70 passed away Friday, September 04, 2015 at Rio Grande Regional. Sofia was born September 25, 1944 in San Fernando Tamps. MX. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rolando Cantu, Sr.; & parents, Timoteo Silva & Librada De los Santo Silva. Sofia is survived by her son, Rolando Canto, II; brothers, Sigifredo (Francisco) Silva & Timoteo (Maria C.) Silva; sisters, Carolina S. Lopez & Librada (Cipriano) Perez.
Viewing for Sofia will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. No other services will follow. Cremation will follow at a later date
