Senaida Lara
May 29, 1923 — February 4, 2017
EDCOUCH – Senaida R. Lara, 93, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Amara Hospice in Edinburg. She was born May 29, 1923 to Julian & Maria F. Ramos in Mexico.
Senaida is survived by her sons, Noah Lara, Salvador (Mary) Lara, Alfredo (Maria) Lara, Ruben (Hermelinda) Lara, Juan (Elida) Lara, and Rene (Evette) Lara. Also surviving her are daughters, Nancy (Rick) Velarde and Isabel (Arnoldo) Ybarra; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be Monday, February 6, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresita Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
