ELSA – Ruben S. Ledesma, Sr., 74, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, TX. He was born April 20, 1943 to Felix & Julia Ledesma in Mercedes, TX.
Ruben is survived by his wife, Paula Flores Ledesma; sons, Ruben Ledesma, Jr. and Raul Ledesma; daughters, Tammy Mata Magañas and Jacqueline Mata Castillo; and 12 grandchildren. Also surviving him are brothers; Enrique (Connie), Felix, Jr., (Maria), Pedro (Idalia), and Isaac (Sonia) Ledesma; sisters; Eva Ledesma, Maria Lopez, Avelina (Gabriel) Jimenez, and Sonia (Amador) Banda; 12 grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. with a Chapel Service at 10:00 a.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr, TX.
