Mercedes -Rolando Joe Salinas, 59, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. He was born July 17, 1955 to Genaro & Maria J. Salinas in Nasora, TX. He is survived by his wife; Yolanda Salinas, son, Gilberto Salinas, daughters, Angelica Maria Salinas and Maria I. Salinas, and mother, Maria Jasso Salinas. Rolando is preceded in death by his father; Genaro Salinas.
Rolando's body will be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Inurnment of Rolando's ashes will be Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Park Cemetery in rural Mercedes, TX.
