Harlingen/Progreso – Rogelio Martinez, 71, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Harlingen Medical Center. He was born June 23, 1946 to Jose & Julia Martinez in Mexico.
Rogelio is survived by his wife, Maria Del Carmen Martinez; sons; Jose Martinez, Antonio Martinez, Omar Martinez, and Roy Martinez; daughters, Debora Rodriguez, Julia Martinez, and Lydia Martinez. He is also survived by his mother, Julia Martinez; brothers, Pascual Martinez, Jose Juan Martinez, Hugo Martinez, and Rene Martinez; sisters, Yolanda Moreno, Hortencia Lopez, Maria Felipa Valle, and Julia Sanchez; 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father.
Viewing will be held Friday, December 8, 2017 and Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. on both days. Interment will be held in Mexico.
