Elsa- Roberto Leal, 78, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. He was born December 24, 1935 to Juan & Ofira Leal in Los Aldames, N.L., Mexico. Roberto is preceded in death by his wife, Lucila Leal, daughter, Norma Irene Leal, and parents, Juan & Ofira Leal. He is survived by his children; Blanca (Pedro) Ortegon, Lucila “Lucy” Leal, Daniel (Monica) Leal, grandchildren; Kayla Michelle Leal, Amy E. Ortegon Spradling, Pedro Andres Ortegon, Krystal Monique Leal, Katherine Danielle Leal, Kacey Sofia Leal, and great-grandchildren, Landon Oliver Spradling and Mitchell Owen Spradling. Viewing will be held Friday, September 12, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Talk at 7:00 p.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will continue Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
