ELSA – Rene Mariscal, 54, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. He was born October 10, 1962 to Jose & Felipa Mariscal in Weslaco.
Rene is survived by his father, Jose Mariscal; brothers, Jesus Mariscal, Miguel Mariscal, and Leroy Mariscal; sisters, Rosa Maria Pedraza, and Susan Annette Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Felipa G. Mariscal; brother, Jose J. Mariscal; and sister, Olga Lopez.
Viewing will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A Chapel Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
