Missouri City, Texas- Raul Aguilar, Jr., 64, formerly from Edcouch passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at Clear Lake Regional Hospital. He was born February 27, 1953 to Raul, Sr. & Carolina Aguilar in Weslaco.
Raul is survived by his wife, Lydia Aguilar; sons, Rodney (Patricia) Montelongo and Eric Lee Aguilar; daughters, Monique Aguilar; and 4 grandchildren. Also surviving him are brothers, Rolando Aguilar, Rene Aguilar, and Armando Aguilar; sisters, Rosalinda Rodriguez, Yamina Aguilar, and Rosaura Cooky Hernandez. He is preceded in death by his parents; and granddaughter, Catalina Grace Rodriguez.
Viewing will be Friday, January 5, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Saturday at 8:30 a.m. with at Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Cemetery in Weslaco.
