La Blanca - Ramona S.Tijerina, 79, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Edinburg Regional Hospital. She was born April 5, 1940 in Mexico. She is survived by her children, 6 sons and 1 daughter. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, two sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ramona is preceded in death by her mother, Felicitas Cazares.
Viewing will be Thursday, August 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Friday, August 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
