Ramona Rodriguez

EDINBURG- Ramona Rodriguez, 50, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023 at M.D. Anderson Center in Houston.  Ramona was born October 21, 1972 to Ana Maria Garcia in Mexico.

Ramona pursued a career as a teacher's assistant at Edcouch-Elsa Independent School District. Ramona was a devout woman of God and instilled the same Love and Faith in her husband and children.

Ramona is survived by her loving husband, Reynaldo Rodriguez; her children, Reynaldo (Amberly) Rodriguez, Rodney (Tracy Ariel) Rodriguez and Rachanna Monique Rodriguez (Daniel De La Cruz) and her grandson, Reynaldo Rodriguez, III; her sibilings, Michael Garcia, Rosa Alvarado and Minerva Garcia. Ramona was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

Viewing will be Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. As per her wishes, Ramona will be cremated at a later date.
