EDCOUCH – Ramiro G. Villarreal, 73, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. He was born August 3, 1941 to Teodoro & Concepcion Villarreal in Donna, TX.
Ramiro is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Reymundo and Salvador Villarreal; sister, Julia Ramirez. He is survived by his wife, Teodora Villarreal; son, Ramiro (Norma) Villarreal, Jr.; daughter, Sylvia (Santiago) Solis; brothers, Jose (Florestela) Villarreal, Teodoro (Oralia) Villarreal, Candelario (Noemi) Villarreal; sisters, Evangelina (Anselmo) Lugo, Oralia (Antonio) Ortiz, Cristela Lugo; grandchildren, Ramiro (Criselda) Villarreal, III, Daniel Villarreal, Allison Villarreal, Madison Solis and Matthew Solis.
Viewing will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church Parish Hall, today, February 27, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 9 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
