Edcouch- Pedro G. Silva, 85, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. He was born September 19, 1930 to Ipolito & Eva Silva in Mexico.
Pedro is survived by his wife, Ramona Silva; sons, Pedro Silva, Jr., Juan Manuel Silva, Francisco Javier Silva, David Silva, Miguel Silva, Homero Silva; and daughter, Sylvia Martinez. Also surviving him are brothers, Seferino Silva and Guadalupe Silva; sister, Mercedes Luna, 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Viewing will be held Friday, August 19, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresita Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
