Pedro Hernandez

EDCOUCH – Pedro Ibarra Hernandez, 83, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Amara Hospice in Edinburg. He was born January 31, 1935 to Serapio & Maximina Hernandez in Mexico.

Pedro is survived by his wife, Delia Hernandez; sons, Pedro Hernandez, Jr.; daughters, San Juanita Coronado and Olga Lidia Hernandez. Also surviving him are 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Erasmo Garcia; sisters, Santos Garcia, Rebecca Martinez, and Ofelia Rivera. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Monico Hernandez and Alfredo Garcia.

Viewing will be held Friday, February 16, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
