EDCOUCH – Paula Cardona, 67, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 at her residence in Edcouch. She was born June 18, 1949 to Daniel & Altagracia De la Torre in Mexico.
Paula is survived by her husband, Porfirio Cardona; sons, Isaac (Belenn) Cardona, Alejandro (Lourdes) Cardona, Oscar (Sonia) Cardona, Porfirio (Irene) Cardona, and Rene (Yolanda) Cardona, 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Also surviving her are brother, Francisco De la Torre, and sister, Rosa De la Torre. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Viewing will held Monday, May 8, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at CARDOZA Funeral Home Chapel in Edcouch. Viewing will continue Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at CARDOZA Funeral Home Chapel in Edcouch. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
