Mercedes- Odilia Ramirez, 83, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 at Retama Manor Nursing Center in Weslaco. She was born November 20, 1932 to Octavio & Adela Silva in Tamps, MX.
Odilia is survived by her sons, Jesus Cavazos, Oscar Cavazos, Pablo Cavazos, Apolonio Cavazos, Juan Jose Ramirez; sisters, Flor Estela Salaiz, Odilia Cavazos, Ana Bertha Cavazos, Alicia Cavazos, Rosa Maria Cavazos, Maria Antonia Cavazos and Sonia Ramirez. She is also survived by 55 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Uvaldo Silva, Roman Silva; sisters, Guadalupe Silva, Griselda Abrego and Eudelia Silva. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Victor Silva and sister, Maria de Los Angeles Silva.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. with a Chapel Service at 10:00 a.m. at CARDOZA Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
