Nicolas Serna
November 27, 1950 — April 17, 2018
LA VILLA - Nicolas V. Serna, 67, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Mission Trail Baptist Hospital in San Antonio. He was born November 27, 1950 to Porfirio & Agapita Serna in Mexico.
Nicolas is survived by his son, Nicolas Serna, Jr.; daughter, Mary Lou (Lupe) Garza; sisters, Lucila Serna, Olga Singleterry, and Lidia Serna; and numerous nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Raquel R. Serna; parents; and brothers, Ricardo V. Serna and Humberto V. Serna.
Viewing will be held Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Friday, April 20, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. with a Chapel Service at 10:00 a.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
