Miguel Vazquez Cortez

IRVING, TX- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Miguel Vazquez Cortez, 24 on November 15, 2024. Miguel was born on November 15, 2000 in Matamoros, Mx to his parents Juan Vasquez and Mayra Gonzalez. Miguel was a beloved son and computer programmer, who was a proud graduate of Harlingen High School and Lincoln College of Technology, where he honed his skills and passion for programming, graduating in 2021.

His dedication to his work and studies was exemplary, and his bright spirit and warm heart endeared him to everyone he met.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents Miguel and Mayra Gonzalez, and Juan Vasquez. He is also survived by his brother Juan Vasquez; grandmother Ignacia Carranza; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family will gather to pay their respects for Miguel on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapels in Edcouch. As per his wishes, cremation will follow at a later date.

Services are under the direction of Dr. Joseph Conde and staff at Serenity Funeral Chapels located at 1401 E Santa Rosa Ave, Edcouch, Texas 78538. May he rest in peace, knowing he was loved and cherished by many.
