MONTE ALTO – Miguel Angel Alonso, 63, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at his residence in Monte Alto. He was born August 22, 1954 to Jose & Benita Alonso in Mexico.
Miguel is survived by his wife, Concepcion G. Alonzo; son, Jose (Jennifer) Alonso; daughter, Laura (Rafael) Ventura; and 8 grandchildren. Also surviving him are brothers, Tomas Alonso and Jose Luis Alonso; sisters, Julia Valdez, Josefina Rodriguez, Alicia de la Cerda, Hortencia Valdez, and Irma Medina. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Monte Alto. Interment will follow at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
