Maria Felisa Ruiz died October 22, 2012 at her Edcouch residence. She was 92.
She is survived by her children: Virginia Lopez, Maria D. Fuentes, Federico Ruiz, Claudio Ruiz, Jr. Roberto Ruiz, San Juanita Garcia, Rosalinda Garcia, Yolanda Perez, and Irma Salinas. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, and 6 great great-grandchildren.
Maria is preceded in death by her husband Claudio Ruiz, Sr., her parents, daughter Olivia Gonzalez, and son Federico Ruiz.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will continue Thursday Oct. 25 at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass will be at 2 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Edcouch.
Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco.
