EDINBURG/LA VILLA – Maria Guadalupe Reyes, 72, passed away Monday February 13, 2017 at her residence in Edinburg. She was born July 14, 1944 to Inocencio & Ramona Míreles in La Villa.
Maria is survived by her sons, Efrain (Kristina) Reyes, Eleazar (Farrah) Reyes, Jr., Raul (Mireya) Reyes, and Raudel (Clarissa) Reyes; daughters, Glenda Reyes, and Holly (Juan) Guajardo, Jr. Also surviving her are brothers, Inocencio (Esmeralda) Míreles, Jr., Fidel (Ana) Míreles, Alfredo (Kathy) Míreles, and Carlos Míreles; and sisters, San Juana Míreles, Esperanza (Robert) Ramos, Elvira (+Rodolfo) Serna, +Martha (Pedro) Gonzalez, and Felicita (Ricardo) Aleman.
Viewing will be held Friday, February 17, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresita Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
