Maria de la Luz Ponce, 72, passed away May 18, 2016 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. She was born October 17, 1943 in Mexico to Lorenzo and Timotea Ponce. She is survived by her sons, Norberto, Javier, Ignacio, Othoniel and Jorge L. Paz. She is also survived by her daughters, Irma, Olga Lidia, Martha Olivia, Angelica Maria and Elizabeth Paz, 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving her are her sisters, Alberta and Marta Ponce.
A Memorial Service will held Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at CARDOZA Funeral Home Chapel.
