Maria Padilla

Edcouch - Maria C. Padilla, 64, passed away January 10, 2020 at her residence in Edcouch. Maria was born December 1, 1955 to Pablo and Guadalupe Rodriguez in Mexico. Maria is survived by her son, Luis M. (Lynda B.) Rodriguez, and daughter, Patricia M. Padilla. She is also survived by her brothers, Librado (Altagracia) Rodriguez, Felipe (Socorro) Rodriguez, Jesus (Graciela) Rodriguez; sisters, Margarita (+Arturo) Salazar, Theresa (Rosario) Huizar, and Hermelinda (Alfonso) Perez; and five grandchildren. Her five grandchildren are Louis A. Rodriguez, Lynda M. Rodriguez, Tori N. Rodriguez, Abigail Rodriguez, and Kylie L. Rodriguez. Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio V. Padilla; parents; and sister, Sara Rodriguez Arellano.

Viewing will be Monday, January 13, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Villa. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
