LA BLANCA – Lucia Sanchez, 81, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2017 at Retama Manor in Weslaco. She was born July 16, 1936 to Honorato & Concepcion Lerma in Mexico.
Lucia is survived by her sons, Lindolfo Sanchez, Juan Manuel Sanchez, Hector Sanchez, Ramon Sanchez, and Ramiro Sanchez; daughters, Marisela Trevino, Maria Guadalupe Delgado, and Maria Aurora Sanchez. Also surviving him are 29 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren; brother, Pedro Lerma; and sisters, Fabiana Lerma, Rosa Lerma, and Enedelia Lerma.
Viewing will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
