Mercedes- Leonardo Saenz, 74, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. He was born December 27, 1941to Enrique & Estefana Saenz in Mercedes.
Leonardo is survived by his wife, Constancia Saenz; sons, Hector Lima, Jesus Saenz; daughters, Angelica (Rafael Matus) Saenz, Guadalupe (Guadalupe Salinas) Saenz, Lucia (Luis Hernandez) Saenz, Ana Maria (Jose Antonio) De la Fuente, and Juana (Todd) Gordon. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Juana Saenz and Arturo Saenz. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Viewing will be held Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Friday, May 20, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. with a Talk at 10:00 a.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
