SANTA ROSA - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved uncle, son, and brother, Leandro Torres Jr. "LT," who entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 28, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
LT was a lifelong resident of Santa Rosa and was known for the joy and light he brought into the lives of those around him. He had a heart full of love, never holding hate toward anyone, and possessed a rare ability to make others feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated. His life was a reflection of God's blessings marked by kindness, humility, and genuine compassion.
He found happiness in life's simple pleasures. LT enjoyed collecting comic books, especially Marvel, as well as sports memorabilia. He loved going to the movies, sharing good meals, and most of all, spending time with his family. His favorite moments were often spent at backyard BBQ gatherings, complete with all the trimmings, especially his beloved potato salad. LT was also a devoted Notre Dame Fighting Irish fan, faithfully supporting his team throughout the years.
His humor, laughter, and caring spirit will be deeply missed, but forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing him.
Leandro is preceded in death by his father, Leandro V. Torres, Sr.
He is survived by his loving mother, Dora Torres (Jose Saldana); his sisters, Santos Castaneda (Emilio Castaneda) and Sofia Torres (Sergio Torres); and his cherished nieces and nephews, Victoria, Emilio Jr., and Izabella, who held a very special place in his heart.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM, at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Santa Rosa. The internment of ashes will follow at Santo Nombre Cemetery in Santa Rosa.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. LT will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts.
"Play like a champion today."
Our Lady of Victory, pray for us.
