Elsa – Juanita Y Gonzalez, 95, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at Amara Hospice in Edinburg, TX. She was born February 8, 1921 to (+)Concepcion and (+)Celia Ybarra in San Benito, TX.
Juanita is survived by her son Ruben (Rosa) Ybarra; daughters, Mary Nelda Ibarra, Celina (Marcos) Flores, & Belinda (Enrique) Gomez; 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Also surviving Juanita are her brother, Juan (Pura) Ybarra; and sister, Lupita Regalado. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Simon Gonzalez; and daughter, Flor Estella Gonzalez.
Viewing will be held Monday, October 17, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Talk at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. A Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at CARDOZA Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch, TX.
