La Villa- Juan Jaime Tamez, 47, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born May 29, 1968 to Juan & Herlinda Tamez in Harlingen, TX.
Juan is survived by his wife, Edna Rendon Tamez; daughters, Bianca Renea Tamez, Brittany Nichole Tamez; son, Joshua James (Acenette) Tamez; and grandson, Ace James Tamez. Also surviving him are sisters, Linda (Ramon) Rios, Vangie (Omar Cura) Garcia, Corina (Tony) Romero, Masie Tamez, Carol (Joe Flores) Tamez, Elvia (Luis) Rivera; brothers, John (Elizabeth) Tamez, Johnny Ybarra; sister-in-law, Diana Ybarra; brother-in-law, Ricardo Gonzalez; numerous nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his mother, Herlinda Tamez; father, Juan Tamez; brothers Julian Ybarra and Charles Ybarra.
Viewing will be held Monday, January 11, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 9: 45 a.m. with a Chapel Service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at 11:0 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
