La Villa – Juan Diaz, 77, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. He was born on February 8, 1937 to Antonio Diaz & Julia Alvarado in Reynosa, Tamps. MX.
Juan is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife: Griselda M. Diaz; sons, Martin Diaz, Carlos Diaz, Juan Diaz, Jr. and Antonio Diaz; daughters, Susie D. Sanchez, Julia D. (Manuel) Santoyo, and Jaqueline (Antonio) Diaz; brother, Antonio Diaz; sisters, Maria Courpous and Genoveva Rangel; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held Friday, December 12, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
