Edinburg – Josephine “Josie” Vazquez, 46, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg, TX. She was born January 26, 1973 to Santiago and Ayda Duran in Holland, MI.

Josie is survived by her husband, Jose M. Vazquez; son, Santiago Vazquez; daughter, Arianna (Jacob) Zapata; 4 grandchildren; mother, Ayda V. Duran; sisters, Amy (Jaime) Garcia and Yolanda (Tony) Lozano. She is preceded in death by her son, Miguel Vazquez and father, Santiago Duran.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Eben-Ezer Family Church at 806 E. Edinburg Ave., Elsa, TX 78543. Visitation will continue Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. at Eben-Ezer Family Church at 806 E. Edinburg Ave., Elsa, TX 78543. Interment will at 12:00 p.m. at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
