Josefina D. Rodriguez

ELSA - Josefina D. Rodriguez., 91 went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 5, 2024 at her residence in Elsa. 

She was born November 17, 1932 in Victoria, Mexico to Maria Garcia and Jose DeLeon. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Maria Garcia and Jose DeLeon; her husband of 59 years Pedro Rodriguez Sr.; her sons Pedro Jr., Marco Antonio, Mario Roman; her daughter Lupita, and her grandson Jack Terry. 

Josefina is survived by her seven children, Maria Emilia (Robert) Hulbert, Rogelio (Juanita) Rodriguez, Mario Roman (Karen) Rodriguez, Mary L. Cagle, Aida Josephina (Roger) Davy, Lydia Guadalupe Mancillas, Guadalupe (Alonzo) Elizondo; 18 grandchildren, Rainlilly (Nathaniel) Weber, Shaina Elizondo, Lisa (Bill) Gapski, Lori Cagle, Dawn Chavez, Libby (Fernando) Hueramo, Rogelio (Lupita) Rodriguez Jr., Jennifer Rodriguez, Amanda Davy, Emily Davy, Devon Mancillas, Brandon Mancillas, Josie Rodriguez, Alexis (David) Santivanez, Adam (Sarah) Rodriguez, Pedro Rodriguez III, Angela Rodriguez, Jacqueline Rodriguez; and 37 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch.

Funeral service will be Monday, April 8, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Weslaco.
