WESLACO – Josefina Benavidez, 85, passed away October 16, 2013 at her residence. She was born February 8, 1928 to Ponciano & Francisca Castillo in Los Indios, TX.
Josefina is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gabriel and Ricardo Castillo; sisters, Francisca Castillo and Rosa Galvan. She is survived by her son, Jose Manuel Benavidez; daughters, Hilda (Jose) Garza, Josefa Atencia, Armendina Mata, Oralia Larios; sisters, Maria Luisa Garcia, Leonarda Sanchez, Estefana Benavidez, Raquel Garcia and numerous grandchildren.
