ELSA – Jose Mariscal, 92, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at his residence in Elsa, TX. He was born March 24, 1925 to Miguel & Maria Mariscal in La Villa, TX.
Jose is survived by his sons, Jesus Mariscal, Miguel Mariscal, and Lee Roy Mariscal; daughters, Susana A. Martinez and Rosa M. Pedraza; 27 grandchildren; numerous great- grandchildren; brothers, Pedro Mariscal and Santos Mariscal; sisters, Anita Mariscal and Apolonia Villarreal. He is preceded in death by his wife. Felipa Mariscal; parents; sons; Jose Mariscal and Rene Mariscal; and daughter, Olga Maria Lopez.
Viewing will be held Friday, September 22, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. with a Chapel Service at 1:00 p.m. at CARDOZA Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
