LA VILLA-Jose Raul Lopez, 56 went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 24, 2024, in Edinburg.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Guillermo Lopez, Sr. and Elena Montelongo; brothers, Juan Lopez, Hector Lopez; sister, Norma Carabes.

He is survived by his loving brothers, Jose Guillermo (Karla) Lopez Jr., Rolando Lopez, Ubaldo Lopez; sisters, Rosa (Jesus) Torres, Yolanda Castillo, Elva Lopez, Carmen Lopez, Victoria Carabes, Petra (Hesham) Elmhal, Olivia Lopez, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Funeral service will be Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Interment will follow to Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
