EDCOUCH – Jesus “Jesse” Zuniga, Jr., 59, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at his residence in Edcouch. He was born October 13, 1957 to Jesus, Sr. & Rosa Zuniga in Lockney, TX.
Jesus is survived by his wife, Thelma V. Zuniga; brother, Fernando Zuniga; sisters, Maria Ramirez, and Norma Partida; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lupe Rodriguez. The Zuniga family would like to thank Dr. Nurul Wahid and all the Drs. and nurses who took care of him.
Viewing will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will continue Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresita Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
