MONTE ALTO – Jesus Guillen, 45, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at his residence in Monte Alto. He was born December 22, 1970 to Jose Carmen Guillen & Erlinda Gonzalez in Edinburg.
Jesus is survived by his sons, Justin (Kellyn) Guillen and Aaron Guillen; daughter, Brianna Guillen; father, Jose Carmen Guillen; and mother/guardian, Albina Guillen. Also surviving him are brothers, Oscar (Meaghan) Flores, and Albert (Carmen) Guillen; sisters, Felicitas (Leo) Garza, Teresa (Rene) Del Toro, Sylvia Mora, Esmeralda (Javier) Del Toro, Rocio Hernandez, and Ruth Avila; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father/guardian, Alberto Guillen and mother, Erlinda Gonzalez.
Viewing will be held Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Monday, December 5, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
