LA VILLA – Jesus Espericueta, 69, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. He was born March 16, 1949 to Guadalupe & Petra Espericueta in Avondale, AZ.

Jesus is survived by his wife, Maria Espericueta; sons, Randy (Olga) Espericueta, John (Cindy) Espericueta, and Jessie Espericueta. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; brothers, Ramon Espericueta and Toribio (Suzanne) Espericueta; sisters, Flor Estella (Jose) Villarreal, Maria Elena (+Rogelio) Perez, Mary Espericueta, and Viola (Israel) Villarreal. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Viewing will be held Friday, October 19, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will continue Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Edcouch. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
