ELSA — Hector Marez, Sr. 61, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014. Hector was born April 21, 1953 in Edinburg, TX. He is preceded in death by his father, Pedro Marez. Hector is survived by his wife, Guadalupe “Lupita” Marez, Sons, Hector Marez, Jr. and Carlos Isaac Marez, daughters, Guadalupe Iris (Seth) Jessee and Crystal Rebecca Marez, mother, Rebecca Marez, brother, Armando (Mary) Marez, sisters, Hilda (Ramon) Reyes, Noemi (Ricardo) Garcia and Ana (Rene) Vedia and a granddaughter on the way, Lauren Faith Jessee.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2014
from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Burial will follow at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
