EDCOUCH – Guillermo G. Garcia, 75, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX. He was born January 21, 1942 to Leonardo & Celia Garcia in Mexico.
Guillermo is survived by his wife, Raquel G. Garcia; sons, Guillermo Garcia, Jr., Gilberto Garcia; daughter, Linda Garcia; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Also surviving him are brothers, Juan Garcia, Luis Antonio Garcia; and sister, Maria Elva Camargo. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ricardo Garcia, Francisco Javier Garcia; sisters, Alicia Garcia, Guadalupe Escobedo, and Irma Avila; daughter, Marilu Garcia; and granddaughter, Marissa Garcia.
Viewing will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Cremation will follow at a later date.
