Guadalupe M. Flores

Elsa - Guadalupe M. Flores, 63, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. He was born to Filemon and Jesusa Flores on September 9, 1954 in Waxahachie, TX. Guadalupe was a long-time truck driver working in the transportation industry. He is survived by his wife, Josefa P. Flores. He is also survived by his sons: Guadalupe Flores, Jr. and Greg (Abby) Flores; daughters: Julie (Catarino) Garay-Silva, Jennifer (Marc) Del Rio, and Jacqueline (Peter) Sandoval. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren, and brothers, Martin Flores, Filemon Flores, Jr. and Jose Guerrero. Guadalupe is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Nabor Flores, and sister, Silvia Ann Mitchell. Viewing will be Sunday, August 12, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Monday, August 13, 2018, at 8:30 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresita Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
