Guadalupe (Lupita) Rubio Rodriguez, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, Nov. 28, 2011. She was born in Cardenas, SLP, on Feb. 16, 1928. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Juan and Felipe Rubio, her sisters, Maria Leal, Ester Rubio, Maria Hernandez, her daughters, Linda Ramirez and Leticia Escobar. Ms. Rodriguez is survived by her husband Victor Rodriguez, her brother Victor (Maria) Rubio, her sons and daughters: Rosalinda (Luciano) Contreras, Margarita (Pedro) Rodriguez, Ruben (Maria G.) Cantu, Juanita (Arturo) Garza, Maria E. Lopez, Laura (Dimas) Contreras, Faustino Cantu, Victor M. Cantu, Victor L. (Monique) Rodriguez, Teresa Guerrero, and Esmeralda Rodriguez, 37 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing will be Wednesday November 30 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will continue on Thursday December 1 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm with Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on both days.
Funeral Mass will be Friday, December 2 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Cremation will follow.
