LA VILLA — Guadalupe Pedraza, 97, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at his residence. He was born on May 1, 1917 to Fidencio & Tiburcia Pedraza in Laguna Seca Ranch, TX.
Guadalupe is preceded in death by his wife, Cristina Pedraza; parents; daughters, Rosa Flores, Anita Serna; two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his sons, Francisco (Guadalupe) Pedraza, Teodoro (Luisa Contreras) Pedraza, Guadalupe (Marvin) Pedraza, Jr., Carlos (Sonia) Pedraza; daughters, Juana (Pete) Rios, Adelia (Louis) King, Irma (Noe) Ramirez, 45 grandchildren, 98 great-grandchildren and 30 great great-grandchildren.
Viewing is scheduled for Friday, January 23, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Villa. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco
