LA VILLA – Guadalupe “Wally” Esperiqueta, Jr., 73, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at his residence in La Villa. He was born October 16, 1944 to Guadalupe, Sr. & Petra Castillo Espericueta in Lakeview, TX.
Guadalupe is survived by his wife, Ida Villarreal Esperiqueta; son, Juan Carlos (Jennifer Gracia) Esperiqueta; granddaughters, Jaymee Maria Esperiqueta, Madison Lea Esperiqueta, and Jayda Blancher Esperiqueta; and grandson, Orion Esperiqueta. Also surviving him are sisters, Florestella (Jose) Villarreal, Maria Elena (+Rogelio) Perez, Maria Vianney Espericueta, and Viola (Israel) Espericueta Villarreal; brothers, Jesus (Maria Elena) Espericueta, Torivio (Susana) Espericueta, and Ramon Espericueta. Wally is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Victoria Esperiqueta; sister, Viola Espericueta; and brother, Juan Espericueta.
Cremation will be at a later date.
