WESLACO – Gregorio Macias, 94, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Weslaco Nursing Home. He was born March 16, 1923 to Anselmo & Leonarda Macias in Mexico.
Gregorio is survived by his son, Mario (Francisca) Macias; daughter, Gloria (Antonio) Valdez; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by his brothers, Carlos Macias and Ramon Macias. He is preceded in death by his wife, Julia Macias; parents; and brothers, Maurilio Macias, Manuel Macias, and Roman Macias.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Friday, November 24, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. with a Chapel Service at 10:00 a.m. at CARDOZA Funeral Home Chapel in Edcouch. Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
